4.8 from 4 reviews

An effortless dessert where peach pie filling meets crumbly cake topping, baked until golden and bubbly. The ‘dump’ method means no mixing bowls required – just layer and bake!

  • Total Time: 50 minutes
  • Yield: 8 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 (15 oz) cans peach pie filling
  • 1 (15.25 oz) box yellow cake mix
  • ½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • ½ tsp nutmeg
  • ¼ cup chopped pecans (optional)
  • Vanilla ice cream for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease 9×13 baking dish
  2. Spread peach filling evenly in dish
  3. Sprinkle dry cake mix evenly over peaches
  4. Drizzle melted butter over cake mix
  5. Combine cinnamon and nutmeg; sprinkle over top
  6. Distribute pecans evenly if using
  7. Bake 35-40 minutes until golden and bubbling
  8. Cool 10 minutes before serving with ice cream

Notes

Don't stir layers after assembling. Check for doneness when edges are deep golden and center bubbles vigorously. Letting it rest ensures proper thickening.
